Sulforaphane is an organosulfur compound that exhibits anticancer, antidiabetic, and antimicrobial properties. It is obtained from cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli. The enzyme myrosinasetransforms glucoraphanin, a glucosinolate, into sulforaphane upon damage to the plant (such as from chewing). Young sprouts of broccoli and cauliflower are particularly rich in glucoraphanin.

In biology, epigenetics is the study of changes in phenotype (appearance) or gene expression caused by mechanisms other than changes in the underlying DNA sequence, hence the name epi- (Greek: ???- over, above) -genetics. These changes may remain through cell divisions for the remainder of the cell’s life and may also last for multiple generations. However, there is no change in the underlying DNA sequence of the organism; instead, non-genetic factors cause the organism’s genes to behave (or “express themselves”) differently.

The best example of epigenetic changes in eukaryotic biology is the process of cellular differentiation. During morphogenesis, totipotent stem cells become the variouspluripotent cell lines of the embryo which in turn become fully differentiated cells. In other words, a single fertilized egg cell – the zygote – changes into the many cell types including neurons, muscle cells, epithelium, blood vessels etc. as it continues to divide. It does so by activating some genes while inhibiting others.

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family.  We sure did!  (I do cook a mean turkey if I do say so myself).

We had friends come down from Michigan and Linda’s family to share our Thanksgiving dinner.  We are so blessed by having such great friends and family.  It was a wonderful get together with great food.

Our friends from Michigan came in a day early and we had a great time catching up.  During one of our conversations about our Amega Business intrigued our friends when we discussed how our products help the body heal itself to accomplish amazing health.

So I gave them a little demo.  I first started with the Pendant and the strength test on my friend Lee and I could easily pull him off balance without him wearing the Pendant.

THEN…. I put the Amega Pendant on his shoulder and retried the strength test and I could not budge him.  You should have seen his face; he was astounded.  I did the same test by wanding the floor and having him stand in the wanded area…  and again I could not move him.  Boy did I have his attention now.

His wife just had back surgery a few months ago and they pinned her back.  So as you might guess a 14 hour drive down from Michigan had her in a level 8 out of 10 pain.  Linda and I wanded her for about 10 minutes and the pain was gone, she got up with the biggest smile on her face.

The next morning she said her back didn’t hurt when she got out to bed, and it usually does hurt, so again she was thrilled.
